First day
CARE TO BE PERFORMED ON DAY 1
Remove the plastic film once you get home. Do not keep the film on for more than 4 hours.
You must then clean your tattoo with pH neutral soap and warm water and then dry it with a paper towel or a clean tissue (never with your bath towel).
This cleaning is important to best respect the exudate, which represents the primary scar tissue.
Before you go to bed, I advise you to re-wrap your tattoo in cling film to prevent it from bleeding onto your bed sheets.

Care to be performed
YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE
For a period of 1 month, you will need to follow a cleaning routine by repeating what you did on the first day:
- Wash your hands thoroughly
- Cleanse the tattoo with pH-neutral soap
- Dry with a piece of paper towel
- Perform this cleaning twice a day.
Do not wash your tattoo with any other type of soap and avoid contact with shampoos which are more aggressive.
Be sure to follow this ritual every day if you want to maximize your chances of having the best possible healing tattoo!

Hydration
Which creams should I use?
After 3 to 4 days, your tattoo will enter its repair phase , with a thin layer forming on the surface.
To optimize the final healing result, I advise you to moisturize it.
You can use either 2x/day:
- Coconut oil / shea butter (beware of allergic reactions)
- Use Cicaplast Gel B5
Warning : Hydration should always be done on a clean and dry tattoo!

Sport / Swimming
PRACTICES TO AVOID
Avoid doing sports for 1 week. It is not recommended to do so to avoid tension and friction on the tattoo.
For sports with a higher risk of contact or blows, it is recommended to avoid practicing for at least 3 weeks (Combat sports, Skateboarding, etc.).
Important : Do not swim during the healing period. Chlorine can damage your tattoo, and the salt in seawater is also very harsh.
